Artist statement:

As an artist and a woman the sisterhood is the foundation of my relationships other women I meet along my path. Sometimes we meet a person for a few moments, but the impact of that encounter follows us for a lifetime. The Women of My Life is a series of portraits of women who in one way or another play an important role in my life. The medium used in this series is double exposure. Each photo is accompanied by a short text or a poem reflecting the moment we experienced during our encounters.
