Biography
Haleh Chinikar, born in Rasht, Iran -1986-, is an artist and poet. She explores themes of the body, memory and language through textiles and installation within the field of contemporary art. Her work examines the dynamics of displacement, the multiplicity of ‘home’ and the memory embedded in the body. Alongside her artistic practice, she acts as a literary advisor and organises literary events at Maison CFC in Brussels.
Haleh lives and works in Brussels, Belgium.
